Description
The Eye of the Hunter is a totemic item, mix of legend and technology. To make it work, you must understand the answer to the riddle below. Only an Adventurer of high learning may do so....
A legend tells of a Hunter long ago, stalking his prey for 21 years before he spotted his it slipping into his lair. Knowing that his prey was within reach for the first time in his life, the hunter suddenly faced the meaning of his whole existence, the essence of it all!
Suddenly understanding why his life had been a lie, piercing straight into the heart of his being, he uttered a cry of utter and total despair. Sitting down where he was, he turned away from the lair.
As his head bowed down, he understood why his lie was meaningful for him, and why his life was good. So sudden was this insight that his despair lifted, and his heart grew wings and soared flowing back through the years and he was young again.
As a tear flowed down his cheek he turned towards the black opening of the lair, and with a smile watched as his prey slithered out of the hole and slew him.
