Description
The tear glands of rafters are uniquely large, which is unusual given that no-one has ever witnessed a Rafter cry. A commonly held theory is that when they cry the tears flow inside back into the bottom of this deep gland bottling their pain or joy inside. It is widely believed this is why they are primarily found to have a decidedly cranky disposition. Several Xan artifacts suggest this gland was harvested for use in ancient herbal remedies
