Description
The vial apparently contains the blood of an innocent creature. The Yuttos hold these vials in some regard and they are considered blessed and as having special properties.
JOBE scientists who tried to establish what creatures the blood was taken from could only get some vague and ambiguous answers from the Yuttos. One Yuttos elder cryptically suggesting that all creatures were innocent until proven guilty, but wouldn't be drawn on quite how guilt might be established in such cases. It is believed that the process for obtaining these vials is not straightforward and involves ancient ceremonies that have been passed down through the generations amongst the Yuttos.
One text recovered by JOBE suggested that the blood was taken from newborn creatures as some ancient Yuttos beliefs suggested that all souls become tainted to some degree when they enter the world and only the blood of birth is pure and untainted. Unfortunately the validity of the text cant be confirmed as only half of it was recovered.
