Description
This transparent and clear notum crystal seems to be an example of early Xan attempts to refine Notum. It is enclosed in a sealed environmental container, presumably to preserve it for further study. It is inscribed with what may be a date.
Scans reveal that the crystal at one point housed notum particles but is now empty.
Jobe scientists currently postulate that the process of refining the source was something that took the Xan many decades, possibly even centuries. This crystal would appear to indicate that the process was not always successful even if the notum and crystal molecules bound correctly.
