This crystal data matrix contains data on experiments carried out by the Ancient Xan. From what can be recovered from this matrix it appears to detail experiments designed to help capture the essence of Xan knowledge and lore into easily storable materials that might resemble cloth. These pieces of cloth could be combined and woven into condensed or reinforced samples that could then be combined with their skill crystals to create materials for other processes. This matrix indicates that they had been succesful at creating, combat, medical and technical versions of these samples, each created by combining the condensed samples with a crystal that was made by combining two profession crystals. It also notes though that the technical version was a rare commodity due to the rarity of the specialized knowledge held by their Technicians. Due to this the technical sample was only used to create true masterpieces of Xan technology.
