Description
All items that have been used by someone within a notum field have a form of retention - Stray nanobots are left behind, imprints are made, traces can always be found. This device harvests these "leftover" nanobots and condenses them, if there are enough to be harvested; these nanobots are then reprogrammed into a complex structure, utilizing their storage memory and crafting them into a data receptacle of sorts. The name of this item is a bit misleading, perhaps, as it doesn't actually have much of anything to do with souls, or the ripping thereof. Or so the technical description would have you believe...
