Description
This is a decidedly oldskool piece of equipment - A large piece of glass tubing containing a bit of mercury. As the ambient temperature in a location rises, so does the mercury within the gauge, showing how hot (or cold) an area is.
Sure, this could all be done with nanobots and a digital readout these days, but where's the fun in that?
